Churches - Church of England

Historically each of the Seavington villages was a Parish in its own right with its own church and vicar. Some years ago St Mary's Church was passed to the care of the Council for Redundant Churches and worship concentrated on St Michael's Church.

Since then, the combined Seavingtons parishes have lost their own vicar and are administered from South Petherton as a part of "The Combined Benefice of South Petherton with the Seavingtons".

However, regular worship is normally maintained in St Michael's Church under the direction of the Reverend David Jasper who may be contacted on: 01460 240377. Please note that, at present, St Michael's Church is closed for repairs and all services will be conducted in St Mary's Church.
