Welcome

The Volunteer Inn, Seavington St Michael

Seavington St Mary and Seavington St Michael, often referred to as "The Seavingtons", are two small villages in the South of the County of Somerset in the United Kingdom. We welcome you to our home page.

This web-site is intended to serve the residents of, and visitors to, our villages. Within the site you will find a little about our history and geography and a lot about how we live and enjoy our delightful part of England.

This site will continue to be developed to meet the needs of our community. Thus, if you don't find the information you are looking for please let us know by using the "Contact Us" button at the top of this page. Further, please come back and revisit the site as it develops; what you couldn't find today may be here by tomorrow.

This web-site is provided on behalf of the Seavington St Mary and Seavington St Michael Group Parish Council by The Seavingtons' News.

The Seavingtons' News is published monthly and delivered free of charge to all households and businesses in the two villages. It is paid for by residents' regular collection of waste paper, which also contributes to a greener environment, and by the contributions of our advertisers.

You will find the current and recent editions of the Seavingtons' News by following the link to the left where there is also a list of the advertisers supporting our village magazine. We hope that you will support our advertisers whenever possible; click here for a list of advertisers and links to their websites.

From March 31st 2008 waste collection in the Seavingtons will be on Mondays. Follow this link to the "Refuse" page for details.
