The plan covers village development until 2015. Thus, not all of the proposed actions are being tackled simultaneously. Actions in hand at present include:
- Provision of services and facilities for young people
- Improvements to policing cover for the two villages
- Reintroduction of the village shop as a "Community Shop"
- Provision of enhanced public notice boards
- Guaranteeing the future of village postal collections
- Expansion of the community discounted heating oil purchase scheme
