Village Organisations - Gardening Club

The Seavington Gardening Club holds six meeting a year and arranges three outings, a “Plant Sale” and “Flower Show”. The Flower Show brings the villages together for a day. In the past, surplus funds have been donated to local charities and the SPFA.

Visit: ‘Lift the Latch’ in Forton, Chard – Pauline and David Wright.   Entry £3 donation to charity.  Buffet to follow to be arranged.

Visit: Weston Bampfylde Manor House Organic Garden, Nr Yeovil - Mrs Crawford.  Entry £3 donation to charity.  Buffet to follow to be arranged.

9th July, 7.00 pm

Visit: Copse Hall, Brent Knoll – Mrs S Boss.  Entry £3 donation to charity.  Buffet to be arranged.

FLOWER SHOW at Seavington Millennium Hall

10th September, 7.30 pm

AGM – followed by Talk and slides by Grace Hall (Ham Hill Ranger) on her Actionaid project in Nepal.

8th October, 6.30 pm

Guest Night: Buffet then talk with slides and music ‘My Favourite Gardens’ with Desmond and Shirley Gahan.
