Village Services - Post
There is, at present, no village post office although it is hoped, as part of the Village Plan implementation, to restore this service. Postage stamps can be obtained at The Volunteer Inn during normal opening hours.
Letter collections are made from three post boxes within the villages. You are asked to inform The Seavingtons' News of any irregularities in the operation of Royal Mail's collection from the boxes ie failure to collect, incorrect or no "next collection" plaque displayed etc.
Royal Mail have now provided the schedule of revised mail collection times given below. Please notify any irregularities using the "contact us" message tab above. Sunday & Bank Holiday collections were withdrawn on 28th October 2007. Further, this withdrawal of service applies to all local main post offices.
