INVITATION TO SUBSCRIBE

I have read the rules of the Seavington Community Shop and Services Association (“The Association”) and wish to support its objectives.

I wish to purchase a bond of the value indicated below towards the provision of the £30,000 needed to help establish the Seavington village shop. I understand that the bond will not be secured nor bear interest but will have a face value that is 10% higher than the purchase price. The Association will use every reasonable endeavour (but cannot guarantee) to repay my bond at the end of the fifth year of trading or as soon thereafter as the trading surplus allows. The Association will use every reasonable endeavour (but cannot guarantee) to repay my bond in the event of death or in case of hardship. I understand that should the Association fail then, having paid off trade and any other creditors, any surplus monies will be distributed pro rata to repay bonds and, following this, any surplus will be distributed in accordance with Association rules.

I further understand that money raised through this bond issue will not be used until sufficient funds are in place or promised to build the shop.
