The Village Shop Project - Fund Raising
To obtain finance from the various bodies and organisation which support projects such as the proposed Seavington Community Shop we have to provide a certain amount of "match funding".
The Association is therefore organising a number of fund raising activities and will also be inviting members to purchase loan bonds, repayable five years after the opening of the shop.
Current fund raising activities are:
Crop Circles
Thursday 17th September 2009, 7.30 pm at the Millennium Hall. A presentation on crop circles by Francine Blake, national expert and coordinator of the Wiltshire Crop Circle Study Group. Are the circles made by alien visitors from outer space, are they caused by unexplained earthfields and ley lines, psychic phenomena or pranksters enjoying themselves? Come along on 17th September and find out for yourself.
